Revisions to the University of Michigan Board of Regents’ Bylaws, and UM-Dearborn Campus Bylaws have been proposed and are posted for public comment before coming before the regents for approval July 15.

The School of Social Work executive committee adds one clinical faculty member, bringing the total membership from six to seven. It also adjusts expiration dates for members to improve committee continuity.
The UM-Dearborn’s bylaws amendments incorporate the following: defining the charge of the Faculty Senate Promotion and Tenure Committee; changing pronouns to be gender-inclusive; consistently defining the governing faculty; and correcting spelling inconsistencies.
