Visitor reports unarmed robbery near Perry Building

A campus visitor reported that her purse and cell phone were taken June 14 by unknown individuals near the Perry Building. No additional information initially was provided. The investigation is pending.

Staff member reports sexual assaults by co-worker

A staff member reported to U-M Division of Public Safety and Security detectives that she had been sexually assaulted and harassed by another staff member on multiple occasions in May and June. While most of the incidents reportedly occurred off campus, one incident allegedly occurred in a building at the North Campus Research Complex. The suspect no longer works at U-M. The investigation is ongoing.

Alleged assault recently reported

U-M DPSS detectives are investigating a recent report that a juvenile patient was inappropriately touched by a staff person five or six years ago at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. 

Buildings vandalized again at Stinchfield Woods

Four buildings at Stinchfield Woods in Pinckney were found damaged in June, likely from subjects attempting to enter the buildings. Similar incidents have been reported in recent months. No property appeared to be missing. There are no suspects.
