The University of Michigan Board of Regents is scheduled to meet virtually at 2 p.m. June 17, consistent with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s executive directive regarding public meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The meeting will provide for public participation while maintaining appropriate social distancing. Regents and university leaders will participate virtually.
An agenda of items scheduled for the meeting can be found at the regents’ website. The June meeting is traditionally when regents consider university budgets for the coming fiscal year, which begins July 1.
The public will be able to listen to the regents meeting by clicking on a link from the main U-M website at the meeting’s scheduled time, or by going to umich.edu/watch/.
People who wish to offer public comment during the meeting can sign up until 9 a.m. June 16. They will receive instructions from the university on how to call in at the appropriate time to share their comments as part of the meeting.
