The annual winter blood-donation competition against Michigan State and Penn State universities and the University of Wisconsin, known as the Big Heart Blood Battle, continues through Feb. 22.
To make an appointment to donate or find a list of blood drives, go to bloodbattle.org and click the “Donate” link on the homepage or visit the American Red Cross’s website and insert the sponsor code “goblue.”
The Red Cross asks donors to use Rapid Pass, which allows them to complete their donation quicker by completing some steps before arriving at the blood drive. Visit redcrossblood.org/RapidPass for more information.

- Feb. 15, 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. — University Hospital, Towsley Lobby
- Feb. 17, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. — University Lutheran Chapel, Chapel and Community Room
- Feb. 21, 7 a.m.-2 p.m. — University Hospital, Towsley Lobby
- Feb. 22, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. — Arbor Lakes, Dome
- Feb. 22, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. — Medical Science Building 2, Room 3813/17
