Bare shelves in the blood bank threaten patient care
A critical nationwide blood shortage threatens the ability to provide many types of patient care at U-M. Robertson Davenport, director of the blood bank at Michigan Medicine, is urging every eligible person to schedule an appointment to donate. An added incentive is the four-university Big Heart Blood Battle that starts Jan. 18.
