    Victors for Michigan launch to draw U-M community, public

    The public phase of the university’s Victors for Michigan campaign opens Friday as the university community and the public are invited to a series of communitywide events at Ingalls Mall and Hill Auditorium starting at 5 p.m.

    The 32nd annual Blood Battle, which pits U-M against Ohio State University in a blood-donation competition, begins Monday and runs through Nov. 27.

    Section of Madison Street to be closed for Munger project

    Beginning Thursday, East Madison Street between Packard and Thompson streets will be closed for construction activity associated with the Munger Graduate Residences project. The road closure will run until summer 2015.
