Randee Sorscher Randee Sorscher, who taught linguistics at U-M-Dearborn for 24 years, died at her home in Southfield Aug. 29. She was 61 and had been fighting cancer for several years. Fight leads to arrest A student from Grand Rapids was arrested on an outstanding warrant Aug. 27 after a student from Massachusetts was transported to U-M Hospital for injuries sustained in a fistfight near State and Monroe streets.
