    Six will receive honorary degrees at Winter Commencement exercises

    Michele Norris-Johnson, NPR correspondent and host, will receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree and deliver the Winter Commencement address for the Ann Arbor campus at 2 p.m. Dec. 15 at Crisler Center. Also receiving honorary degrees are Willard L. “Sandy” Boyd, William I. Higuchi, Dr. David Satcher, Lou Anna K. Simon and Helen Zell.

    Regents approve naming of athletic campus, softball center

    The Board of Regents on Friday formally approved the naming of the Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus, and the Donald R. Shepherd Softball Center.
