Two awards combining to recognize staff innovation, impact

The President’s Staff Innovation Award Program is now a part of the Staff Impact Awards.

The change means there is a single nomination process for staff and teams to be eligible for recognition from both awards, with the President’s Staff Innovation Award now called the President’s Staff Award of Distinction.

Nominations being accepted for President’s Staff Innovation Award

Nominations for the President's Staff Innovation Award are being accepted through Feb. 28.

Currently in its fifth year, the President's Staff Innovation Award recognizes individual staff members or teams whose big ideas and "outside The Cube" thinking help make the university a better, more inclusive community.

Ashley Harris, research laboratory specialist intermediate in the Translational Oncology Program, and the U-M Crowdfunding Taskforce have been selected as the winning individual and team recipients of the President’s Staff Innovation Award.
