    Password reset effort continues; expands to alumni, retirees

    U-M community members who have yet to change their UMICH (Level 1) passwords, primarily used for email and other online services, will need to use the “Forgot Password?” link on the login page.

    The university has mandated that passwords for all UMICH (Level-1) accounts be reset by the end of Sept. 12. If the deadline is missed, a more intricate account-recovery process will be necessary to regain access.

    Update from ITS regarding temporary internet outage

    While a universitywide internet outage continues to affect operations at the Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint campuses, Information and Technology Services is working continuously toward restoring service. Faculty, staff and students can now authenticate into their U-M accounts. Access to cloud-based services has been restored. Functioning systems are accessible from off-campus or cellular networks. Updates will be shared at umich.edu and @umichtech on Twitter.
