Read more about the run for homelessnessBrendan LaFrenier, right, is joined by John Chase, athlete innovation program coordinator of the Human Performance & Sport Science Center, and LSA student Miles Kohn, who served as pacers during the 200-mile run for homelessness. LaFrenier decided in April to start training for the run from Lake St. Clair north of Detroit to Lake Michigan in Holland with a goal to raise $100,000 for homelessness. New behavioral health hospital
Read more about the new centers at UM Health-SparrowThe Board of Regents approved two projects that will improve access to much-needed mental health resources and create a lower-cost setting for certain surgical procedures in Mid-Michigan. UM Health-Sparrow is building a behavioral health hospital and an ambulatory surgery center in Lansing. The investments reflect U-M Health’s commitment to improve access to care for everyone, including the most vulnerable. This video includes information about the behavioral health hospital.
