U-M retirees invited to bicentennial celebration event

University of Michigan retirees, their friends and families, are invited to the All U-M Retiree Celebration and Trivia Game from 3-5 p.m. June 27 at the Michigan League Ballroom to honor retiree contributions to the university’s 200-year history.

The celebration will include time for socializing, light refreshments and entering a raffle for door prizes. The U-M trivia game begins at 3:30 p.m., and prizes will be awarded to winning teams. Retirees wishing to participate should send their name, along with the names and email addresses of any participating friends and family, to UMRAtrivia@umich.edu.

Free parking will be available at Pioneer High School with free shuttle buses running every 15 minutes between Pioneer and the Michigan League.

The U-M Retirees Association is hosting this first-time event for U-M retirees, families and friends from the Dearborn, Flint, Ann Arbor and medical campuses.

The event is part of the MSTAFF200 bicentennial celebration for all U-M staff members and retirees on Ingalls Mall from 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. June 27.
