The university officially reopened the A. Alfred Taubman Health Sciences Library on Wednesday with a ceremony that included, from left, University Librarian and Dean of Libraries James L. Hilton; Gayle Taubman Kalisman, daughter of the late A. Alfred Taubman; and Medical School Dean Dr. James O. Woolliscroft. After a $55 million renovation, the 35-year-old building on the medical campus has been transformed into an all-digital, light-filled, dynamic learning space for future physicians, scientists and other health professionals.
