The University of Michigan Women of Color Task Force will host its 40th annual career conference March 4.

The keynote speaker is social justice leader and movement strategist Tamika D. Mallory, an internationally recognized activist, co-founder of Until Freedom, and one of four co-chairs for the 2017 Women’s March on Washington.

Mallory will discuss the conference theme: “The Time is Now!”

President of Mallory Consulting, a strategic planning firm, and a former board member of The Gathering for Justice, Mallory was included on the 2017 Time 100 Pioneers list and Fortune’s 2017 list of the World’s Greatest Leaders. She is a prominent voice of civil rights, social justice and the new wave of feminism.

The conference is free, but pre-registration is required to attend the morning and afternoon workshops and to receive the Zoom link to the keynote session. All conference sessions will be presented virtually.

All U-M staff, faculty, students, and the public, regardless of gender or ethnicity, are invited to register to attend this inclusive professional development event.
