Sexual assault reported at Baits Housing

A U-M alumnus reported being sexually assaulted between September and December 1975 by a known acquaintance. This case is closed.

Sexual assault reported at University Hospital

A patient reported that on July 20, he was inappropriately touched during medical care. This case is closed.

Sexual assault reported at Burton Tower

A U-M alumnus reported being touched inappropriately in May 1986 by a professor. This case is closed.

Aggravated assault reported at University Hospital

A staff member reported that alcohol or drugs were placed in her lunch drink on July 4. This case is currently under investigation.

Burglary reported at Hutchins Hall

Two cash registers were found forced open between 2 a.m. July 6 and 5:50 a.m. July 7. Approximately $50 was stolen. This case is currently under investigation.

The Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center supplies reports to inform the university community about incidents of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking that are reported to SAPAC. SAPAC is a resource for survivors, their families and friends, U-M personnel (faculty, staff and U-M Police officials) and non-U-M personnel (e.g., high school counselors). The table reflects only the number of cases reported to SAPAC, and includes reporting by faculty, staff and students. The numbers do not necessarily reflect the number of incidents on campus, nor do they reflect the number of cases that occurred in a specific time frame. They also do not reflect the number of cases that may have been reported to police.
