U.S. Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., visits with U-M interns who are in Washington, D.C., as part of the Public Service Intern Program run by the Career Planning and Placement Office. Nearly 40 students participate in the summer program, in which interns work at a variety of Capitol Hill and other offices around town, learning about government, advocacy and public relations.
