    U-M creates first robotics department among top 10 engineering schools

    The Board of Regents has approved the creation of the Department of Robotics in the College of Engineering, which will define robotics as a discipline, teaching students the skills needed to help drive an expanding field.

    U-M sells downtown Flint building to Genesee County

    U-M will sell the University Tower building on the UM-Flint campus to Genesee County for $8.5 million. The Board of Regents approved the sale Dec. 9. The purchase was approved Dec. 1 by the Genesee County Board of Commissioners.
