As part of the University’s commitment to help faculty members and staff meet the challenge of balancing work obligations with family commitments, the U-M Work/Life Resource Center again is offering “Kids Kare at Home.”
The program provides an emergency back-up option when regular childcare is unavailable. For example, when a child needs to stay home due to illness but the parent cannot take time away from work, a Kids Kare caregiver can be called to provide back-up care in the home.
To use the Kids Kare at Home program, faculty, staff and students must first register at hr.umich.edu/worklife/kidskare/index.html during the registration period, Nov. 10-21.
Registration is free and there is no obligation to use the service. An hourly rate of service will be determined upon registration.
