Aleksandra Ligita Rozentals
Aleksandra Ligita Rozentals, lecturer in French, died of Hodgkin’s disease on Nov. 3. She was 29.
Rozentals was born Sept. 9, 1963, in Kalamazoo. She was a graduate of Kalamazoo College and of Michigan State University (master’s degree in art) and attended the University of Dakar, Senegal, West Africa. She was a member of several honor societies and a recipient of a Watson Fellowship for research study in Senegal and Mali.
A memorial service was held Nov. 6.
