Museum of Art places 2nd in design contest

The Museum of Art has received a second prize award in the 1993 American Association of Museums Publications Design Competition for its Janice Gordon exhibition catalogue.

The competition, which acknowledges excellence in the graphic design of museum publications, is the only national, juried event involving publications produced by museums of all kinds and sizes.

Designed by Beth Hay, the catalogue accompanied the 1992 exhibition “Janice Gordon: Recent Constructions.”
