The University signed licensing agreements with several area companies during FY93 to develop and market

U-M research technology. These local firms are:

Audiocomp, Inc. of Adrian for a digital audio compression system developed by David J. Anderson, David L. Neuhoff, Donghoon Lee and Omar A. Nemri from the College of Engineering.

Dexter Research Center, Inc. of Dexter for a monolithic silicon thermopile infrared detector developed by Kensall D. Wise and Khalil Najafi from the College of Engineering.

Improvement Path Systems of Whitmore Lake for a discharge management system developed by Steven J. Littig and Linda A. Ulrich, former graduate students in the College of Engineering.

K-Space Associates, Inc. of Ann Arbor for a CCD-Based RHEED/LEED detection and analysis system developed by Darryl J. Barlett and Roy Clarke of the Department of Physics.

SoloHill Engineering, Inc. of Ann Arbor for an enhanced roller bottle production device and collagen coated microcarrier beads developed by James Varani from the Medical School with William J. Hillegas, David E. Solomon and David L. Melmoth, all from SoloHill.
