Neidhardt receives honorary degree
Frederick Neidhardt, the Frederick G. Novy Distinguished University Professor of Microbiology and Immunology and associate vice president for research, has been awarded an honorary degree by the University of Umea, Sweden. The award recognizes his contributions in the field of bacterial physiology and molecular biology, particularly those concerning the responses of bacteria to environmental stress.
Hille’s book published
Inside the Large-Small House: the Residential Design Legacy of William W. Wurster, by R. Thomas Hille, assistant professor of architecture, has been published by Princeton Architectural Press. The book is a detailed study of 12 houses and is the first major retrospective of the work of this innovative designer.
