‘Conversations with President Duderstadt’ to air this week

The first in this year’s series of “Conversations with President Duderstadt,” designed to help inform the University and greater Ann Arbor communities about strategic issues affecting the U-M, will air on Ann Arbor Community Access TV (Channels 9) seven times over the next two weeks.

This first program will focus on research issues and, in addition to President James J. Duderstadt, will include Francis S. Collins, professor of internal medicine and of human genetics, and director of the Human Genome Center; Sheldon H. Danziger, professor of social work and public policy and research scientist, Institute of Public Policy Studies; Homer A. Neal, chair, Department of Physics; Sarah Winans Newman, associate vice president for research and professor of anatomy and cell biology; and James A. Winn, professor of English and director, Institute for the Humanities.

Broadcasts are scheduled for 10:05 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 22) and Sept. 29, 5:05 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 23) and Sept. 30; and 2:05 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 26) and Oct. 3 and 8:05 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 27).
