President Mary Sue Coleman’s first days on campus were full of meetings with department heads, discussions about key appointments, and a host of events designed to help her get to know the community and vice versa. “This was very welcoming,” she said. “I just feel like it’s been a smooth introduction to a delightful community.” — The University Record
