Latest state order imposes further restrictions on campus activity
The latest state order to curb climbing rates of COVID-19 means most college and university courses must be delivered remotely starting Nov. 18. Intercollegiate athletics may continue, but without any spectators.

Through its Elizabeth Weiser Caswell Diabetes Institute, Michigan Medicine and JDRF announced a grant from JDRF of $7.37 million that will help establish the JDRF Center of Excellence at U-M.

Monumental outdoor sculpture to change face of UMMA
The U-M Museum of Art permanently installed a 25-foot-tall sculpture by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa of an elongated human head with hands covering both eyes, a piece signifying deep reflection.
