U-M and Northwestern University have announced the creation of the George Jewett Trophy, the first rivalry game trophy named for an African American player in Football Bowl Subdivision history.

Football game with Maryland canceled; practice paused
The U-M athletic department has paused football practices until Dec. 7, and the Dec. 5 game against Maryland has been canceled and will not be rescheduled, due to COVID-19-related factors.

The U-M athletic department and Division of Public Safety and Security request that all personal and university vehicles be parked away from Michigan Stadium each Friday by 10 p.m. prior to home football games.

Athletics announces process for student-athlete return to sports
