Increased turnout illustrates success of Campus Voting Hubs
U-M’s two Campus Voting Hubs saw a threefold increase in campus voter engagement in 2024 over the 2022 midterm election. A total of 14,932 voters exercised their right to vote at the hubs at the U-M Museum of Art and the Duderstadt Gallery.

U-M students broke voter turnout records in 2020
Voter turnout among U-M students jumped to 78 percent in the November 2020 election, according to a report from Tufts University. It was up 18 percentage points from 2016.

U-M student voter turnout triples from 2014 to 2018
Voter turnout among students at U-M for midterm elections tripled in 2018 from 2014, with 41 percent of students voting. More than 15,800 students cast votes in the 2018 midterms — up from 5,282 in 2014.
