    Respect for nature inspires biology professor

    As a child, Emily Saarinen was fascinated by caterpillars and other small creatures. That respect for nature rooted in her childhood has grown to inspire her work today as an assistant professor of biology in the Department of Natural Sciences at UM-Dearborn.
