   Ford School junior is named U-M’s 30th Truman Scholar

   Yasmine Elkharssa, a junior at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy with a passion for fighting injustice through law and policy, has been selected as U-M’s 30th Truman Scholar.

   Junior Xalma Palomino has been selected as a 2022 Truman Scholar — one of 58 new recipients nationwide to win the prestigious award of $30,000 for graduate studies.

   Catherine Hadley named one of 62 Truman Scholars for 2021

   A junior in LSA who plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology in 2022, Catherine Hadley is U-M’s 28th Truman Scholar. The prestigious scholarship provides up to $30,000.
