    Martino Harmon, who currently serves as the senior vice president for student affairs at Iowa State University, has been appointed vice president for student life at U-M effective July 1.

    The U-M community is invited to celebrate the opening of Trotter Multicultural Center on Thursday at its new location, 428 S. State Street. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house begins at 11 a.m.
