These are a few of the remarkable accomplishments of the 2019 University of Michigan Staff Impact Award recipients.
The President’s Staff Innovation Award Program is now a part of the Staff Impact Awards.
The change means there is a single nomination process for staff and teams to be eligible for recognition from both awards, with the President’s Staff Innovation Award now called the President’s Staff Award of Distinction.
Nominations are due by Oct. 31 for the Candace J. Johnson Award for Staff Excellence, which recognizes University of Michigan staff members whose commitment to excellence, teamwork, and a supportive environment make the university a great place to work.
Anna Cihak, student administration manager for the LSA Program in Biology and Undergraduate Program in Neuroscience, will receive the Candace J. Johnson Award for Staff Excellence.
Cihak will receive the award at a reception March 14.
To recognize the outstanding contributions of its staff, the University of Michigan has created the Staff Impact Awards. Created as part of the university's bicentennial celebration, the awards will honor staff, supervisors and work teams that help the university meet its missions.
