Kaaren M. Williamsen selected to serve as SAPAC director

Kaaren M. Williamsen, a leader in sexual assault prevention work, will join the University of Michigan as the next director of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center.

Williamsen currently is the Title IX coordinator at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania.

Nadia Bazzy to serve as interim leader for SAPAC

Nadia Bazzy, assistant director of the Office of Student Conflict Resolution, will serve as the University of Michigan's interim director of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center while a national search for a permanent director launches this spring.

U-M releases results of campus climate survey on sexual misconduct

University of Michigan students overwhelmingly say they feel safe from sexual misconduct on the Ann Arbor campus, yet about 11 percent of all students — male, female, undergraduates and graduate students — report some form of nonconsensual sexual behavior during the past year.
