   United Way campaign collects $1.13M to exceed 2022 goal

   The U-M community raised more than $1.13 million during the 2022 U-M United Way employee giving campaign that ended Dec. 31, surpassing its $1.1 million goal.

   Road Scholars Tour resumes with faculty visiting communities

   The annual Michigan Road Scholars Tour resumed this year after a two-year pause during the COVID-19 pandemic. From May 2-6, Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint faculty members visited 10 cities.

   Chris Kolb named vice president for government relations

   Chris Kolb, who currently serves as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s state budget director, has been appointed vice president for government relations at U-M, effective Jan. 19.
