   Colleen Mastony, executive director of media relations and external affairs at the University of Chicago, will serve as U-M’s next assistant vice president for public affairs.

   Wendy Turner, general manager of Ohio Public Media Services, will become the next executive director and general manager at Michigan Radio, U-M’s public radio station.

   U-M Slack to replace Facebook Workplace on Sept. 17

   Users of Facebook Workplace recently have been notified that the university is moving to U-M Slack as its primary collaboration tool for enhancing workgroup communication.
