   Grants address poverty, COVID-19 impact across Midwest

   A network led by Poverty Solutions U-M has awarded six grants totaling $150,000 for projects to improve economic mobility and address the impact of COVID-19 throughout the Midwest.

   A group of U-M scholars has secured a $225,000 grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to explore the Midwest as a multicultural, multilingual region shaped by successive waves of international and domestic migrations.
