    Weapons detection system expands U-M security operations

    U-M is expanding its security operations with a new walk-through weapons detection system at Michigan Stadium. The new system will be operational with the Nov. 4 football game against Purdue University.

    The Board of Regents has authorized asking the Michigan Liquor Control Commission for liquor licenses that could allow the sale of alcohol at Crisler Center, Michigan Stadium and Yost Ice Arena.

    Vehicles must be moved from near stadium for game days

    Athletics and Logistics, Transportation & Parking are asking that all personal and university vehicles be parked at off-site locations away from the Michigan Stadium area by 10 p.m. each Friday prior to home football games this fall.
