Schlissel has made a strong statement expressing his “extreme disappointment” in the events surrounding quarterback Shane Morris’ injury in Saturday’s loss to Minnesota, and instructed Athletics to conduct a thorough review of in-game player safety procedures, particularly those involving head injuries.
