Colorful Choices helps U-M employees eat more fruits, vegetables

Research shows that a diet rich in fruits and vegetables can reduce the risk of heart disease and obesity, some cancers, diabetes, and hypertension, among other things. Despite knowing the benefits, it is still difficult for many people to get their recommended daily servings.

With more than 12 locations across campus in 2018, M Farmers Markets are making it easy to access fresh produce straight from local farms.

On most weekdays through the fall, fruits, vegetables, flowers, patio pots and other farm products are available at an affordable price at locations on or near campus.
