   Monica Dus to direct new Office of National Laboratories

   U-M has created a new office to support its partnerships with U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories, with Monica Dus, associate professor of molecular, cellular and developmental biology, to be the office’s director.

   Legislative support bolsters U-M, Los Alamos computing facility

   Two state legislative committees have endorsed a $1.25 billion initiative by U-M and Los Alamos National Laboratory to establish a high-performance computing and AI research facility in Ypsilanti Township.

   U-M, Los Alamos to develop AI research facility in Michigan

   The university and Los Alamos National Laboratory plan to develop a state-of-the-art facility for high-performance computing and AI research that will be located in Washtenaw County.

   $15M to fund U-M, Los Alamos National Laboratory collaboration

   A five-year, $15 million award will fund a partnership between the U.S. Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory and U-M to address critical challenges.
