   LSA event marks naming of Kessler Student Center

   Students, faculty and staff gathered Sept. 9 for the official naming of the Kessler Student Center in the newly renovated LSA Building. It provides a space for students at LSA and across the university to study, learn and connect.

   $40M Wilpon gift endows program for first-generation students

   A $40 million gift from the Judy and Fred Wilpon Family Foundation will endow the Kessler Presidential Scholars Program at U-M in perpetuity. The program aids first-generation college students.

3. May 13, 2020

   Other institutions join U-M effort to aid first-generation students

   The Kessler Scholars Program, founded at U-M to transform the first-generation student experience, will expand to five other colleges and universities through a new collaboration.
