   An investigation into the allegations of sexual misconduct by former U-M physician Robert E. Anderson found he engaged in a “pervasive, decades-long, destructive pattern of sexual misconduct” involving hundreds of U-M students.

   U-M hires WilmerHale to handle Robert E. Anderson investigation

   The WilmerHale law firm will take over the independent investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct regarding the late Robert E. Anderson, who worked as a physician for U-M from the 1960s to 2003.

   Philbert removed as provost; Collins to be recommended as interim

   Martin A. Philbert has been removed as executive vice president for academic affairs and provost at U-M. President Mark Schlissel said he will recommend the Board of Regents appoint Acting Provost Susan M. Collins as interim provost.

   Provost Martin A. Philbert has been placed on administrative leave as an outside law firm hired by the university conducts an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct.
