   Exterior demolition begins at Fleming Administration Building

   Exterior demolition of the 54-year-old Fleming Administration Building, once home to the offices of U-M presidents and the site of raucous student protests, began Aug. 11.

   Fleming fire training

   The Ann Arbor Fire Department used the vacant Fleming Administration Building for a series of training sessions March 3-5. The department practiced techniques for fighting fires in high-rise structures where firefighters have to access a building’s internal fire-suppression systems.

   The Alexander G. Ruthven Museums Building will undergo a $150 million renovation, its most significant renovation since the building was originally constructed in 1928.
