   Facility & Operation’s Hospital Maintenance team and Campus Metal Shops continue to provide support to Michigan Medicine by converting patient rooms to negative-pressure isolation rooms.

   Stormwater system to be installed on Central Campus

   A new underground stormwater infiltration system on the U-M campus will help protect university buildings from potential floods while benefiting the environment and city of Ann Arbor.

4. March 12, 2018

   Michigan Union to close for renovations at end of semester

   The Michigan Union, one of U-M’s most recognizable landmarks at the heart of Central Campus, will temporarily close from April 30 for a major renovation.

5. May 24, 2016

   University cancels plans for new transportation facility

   U-M will not move forward with plans to build a new transportation operations and maintenance center on North Campus. The current project, originally approved in May 2014, will be canceled.
