   U-M is proceeding with construction and a revised budget to move and transform its iconic Elbel Field. Regents approved adjustments to the Michigan Marching Band’s new practice field site.

   U-M took another step toward developing a new $631 million Central Campus residential complex, as the Board of Regents approved the project and updated construction timeline Sept. 21.

   U-M’s iconic Elbel Field will be transformed into one of the country’s best marching band practice facilities after the Board of Regents approved a project design and authorized construction.

   U-M will detail Central Campus housing plans at Feb. 16 meeting

   The Board of Regents will hear about about design concepts for a new Central Campus housing and dining complex at its Feb. 16 meeting, and university officials will discuss objectives for a second phase of the project.

   University to add 2,300 beds to Central Campus housing

   U-M will develop its first new Central Campus housing for first-year students in decades by adding a residence hall and dining facility on what is currently Elbel Field. The marching band’s practice facility will move a block north.
