   Peter Toogood will become director of Michigan Drug Discovery, the university-spanning collaboration to support and accelerate drug discovery projects, in January.

   Michigan Drug Discovery has awarded funding for three new U-M drug discovery projects, and project-management support and mentoring assistance for three Rogel Cancer Center projects.

   Center for Discovery of New Medicines now Michigan Drug Discovery

   In a reflection of the changing landscape for academic drug discovery at U-M, the Center for the Discovery of New Medicines will now be known as Michigan Drug Discovery.
