   U-M no longer hosting Oct. 15 presidential debate

   The University of Michigan will no longer host one of three presidential debates planned this fall in the run-up to the Nov. 3 general election, but related campus programming will continue.

2. November 21, 2019

   U-M to host ‘champions of democracy’ at debate symposium

   In conjunction with next fall’s presidential debate, U-M will welcome representatives from across the globe for a symposium on political candidate debates and other key democratic principles and practices.

3. October 11, 2019

   U-M to host presidential debate next October

   The university has been selected to host a presidential debate on Oct. 15, 2020. It will take place at Crisler Center, and is one of three presidential debates scheduled to take place before next year’s general election.
