   The Central Campus Classroom Building and Alexander G. Ruthven Building renovation recently earned LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

   The Central Campus Classroom Building is filled with innovative features, from swiveling auditorium seats to a room with 42-foot-long curved screens that hang in a circle from the ceiling.

   Innovative classroom building opening to active, team-based learning

   When the 2022 winter semester begins, U-M students enrolled in about 90 undergraduate and graduate classes will experience the term in the new 105,000-square-foot Central Campus Classroom Building.

   New Central Campus building to include innovative classrooms

   The Board of Regents approved design plans Thursday for a new 100,000-square-foot classroom building on Central Campus that will serve up to 10,000 students each day.
