Abandoned bicycles to be removed from campus
Grounds Services staff members have begun placing brightly colored tags on bikes found around campus that have bent rims, rusted or broken chains, or other signs of abandonment.

The university recently amended its agreement with the micro-mobility company Spin to bring approximately 100 electric-assisted bikes to campus beginning this month.

Abandoned bikes to be identified, removed from campus
The Grounds Department is gearing up to identify and remove abandoned bicycles from the Ann Arbor campus beginning Nov. 1. Bikes suspected of being abandoned will be tagged, and if left after Nov. 15 will be removed.

The League of American Bicyclists, an advocacy organization for people who bike, has honored U-M’s Ann Arbor campus with a Silver-level Bicycle Friendly University award.

Grounds Department to begin removing abandoned bikes this month
The Grounds Department is gearing up to remove abandoned bicycles from bike racks on the Ann Arbor campus. Bikes that show signs of abandonment will be tagged, and then removed if left on campus after May 19.
