HR announces benefit updates in response to COVID-19
Members of the U-M community covered under university health plans now have coverage for virtual medical and behavioral health visits, and cost sharing is waived for virtual medical visits through April 30.

Leftover FSA money can be spent until March 15
U-M employees who have money remaining in their 2019 Health Care Flexible Spending Account have until March 15 to incur eligible expenses and spend down their 2019 FSA balance.

Vaccines now covered in pharmacies and doctor’s offices
U-M benefit plans now cover approved vaccinations under employees’ pharmacy and medical plans. Approved vaccines require no co-pay. Coverage is a prevention benefit in all U-M plans.

Faculty, staff and retirees who are eligible for U-M benefits can make changes to their coverage for 2020 through Wolverine Access until 5 p.m. Friday.

U-M faculty, staff and retirees can change their benefits during open enrollment, which is now open and continues until 5 p.m. Nov. 1. The changes and new rates take effect Jan. 1, 2020.
