   U-M extends athletic director Warde Manuel’s contract

   U-M has announced a five-year contract extension for Warde Manuel, the Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics, so that his term will run through June 30, 2030.

   Warde Manuel named director of intercollegiate athletics at U-M

   Warde Manuel has been named the Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics. His five-year appointment as the university’s 12th athletic director will be effective March 14.

   Schlissel announces search process for next athletic director

   President Mark Schlissel has announced that the university will launch a national search for its next director of intercollegiate athletics.
